Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to help build scalable SaaS solutions. You will own features end-to-end, from design to deployment, using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

You will shape architecture, APIs, and data models while leveraging AI-assisted coding tools and collaborating with experienced engineers. Mentorship and a culture of innovation are encouraged as you contribute to performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally SaaS or web-based products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Experience owning software features from design through production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software practices.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from design through testing and deployment.
• Develop full-stack SaaS apps using Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Shape technical design decisions, APIs, and database structures.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineer to evolve AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Own production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
