Optum is seeking an innovative Sr Software Engineer to join our software development team. In this role, you will build and maintain full stack applications using Angular and Spring Boot, while actively embedding enterprise-approved AI tools into your daily software development workflow.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
3+ years in Angular web apps.
3+ years backend microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
3+ years designing and integrating RESTful Web Services / APIs.
Experience integrating enterprise AI coding tools into daily development workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full stack apps using Angular frontend and Spring Boot backend.
Embed AI tools into daily coding to accelerate feature development and testing.
Build robust RESTful APIs and integrate with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
Perform AI-assisted code reviews, debugging, and ensure quality, performance, and security.
