Job summary

Pure Storage, Inc. invites a seasoned software engineer to contribute to Pure1, the unified management layer across our products. You will split time 50/50 frontend and backend, using AI tooling to generate code and collaborating with the UX team on Angular and Typescript.

Lead project implementations, coordinate peers, emphasize design, testing, CI/CD, and continuously explore AI to accelerate development. This office-based role is in Bellevue, with incentive pay and potential equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience designing, implementing and testing components.
• Leadership experience driving projects from requirements to release, including directing other engineers.
• Experience using AI to generate production quality code and familiarity with current AI development tools.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment.
• Ability to monitor and support multiple concurrent projects with fast context switching.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, networking infrastructure. Angular, NoSQL are a plus.
• Eagerness to explore using AI tools to improve development and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end lifecycle application development across the full stack (roughly 50% frontend and 50% backend).
• Develop brand new subscription and as-a-Service features to surface customer needs and create new revenue sources.
• Manage web infrastructure and data pipelines handling large-scale data in real time.
• Apply machine learning models for predictive analytics to optimize workloads.
• Design, develop and maintain customer- and internal-facing web apps with AI design tools.
• Experiment with AI on new technologies and architectures (containers, micro-frontends).
• Lead project implementations, coordinating engineers and ensuring design-to-production delivery.
• Emphasize design, development, testing, reviews, CI/CD and documentation.
• Explore AI to accelerate development and reduce maintenance pain points.
