Job summary

Lyric is seeking a Full Stack Engineer focused on the frontend with strong API and backend chops. You’ll modernize the UI with React/Next.js, contribute to design systems, and ensure accessible, high-performance experiences for health-insurance customers.

You’ll work on a .NET + PostgreSQL stack, build scalable micro-frontends, and use AI agents to accelerate migrations, testing, and quality. This is remote-friendly within the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production systems.
• Deep front-end experience with React/Next.js; capable in Angular if needed.
• Strong fundamentals: TypeScript, HTML, CSS, accessibility, testing.
• Solid experience with C# and modern .NET (Core+).
• Comfortable with SQL and designing reasonable schemas.
• Experience designing/consuming service-oriented APIs with versioning.
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure.
• Daily use of AI coding tools for refactors, migrations, and tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-end modernization of the product.
• Design and build React apps that are modular, accessible by default.
• Own the experience layer end to end: design system, responsive layouts, accessibility, performance.
• Partner with UX on complex flows and permissions.
• Shape and extend .NET APIs used by the UI.
• Make backend changes: endpoints, contracts, refactors.
• Query SQL as needed; contribute to data pipelines.
• Build AI-powered playbooks for migrations, tests, docs.
• Define clear 'definition of done' for AI changes across UI and API.
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders and engineers to deliver working software.
