Job summary

Fuel Talent LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) in San Francisco with 5–10 years of software experience to join a fast-growing healthcare technology startup. You will build and scale backend services that interface with LLMs and Generative AI, own zero-to-one projects, and help grow production systems for a growing customer base.

Qualifications

5–10 years of software engineering experience.
Strong backend engineering skills with ability to work across the full stack when needed.
Experience building and scaling production backend systems.
Experience at an early-stage startup (Pre-Seed through Series B).
Interest in Generative AI, LLM-powered applications, and AI-native products.

Responsibilities

Build and ship complex backend services and infrastructure that interface with LLMs and Generative AI models.
Own zero-to-one projects, from prototyping MVPs through hardening them into scalable, secure production systems.
Help scale existing products as they are rolled out to a growing customer base.
Improve backend architecture, observability, reliability, and code quality standards.
Work within a flat engineering structure and collaborate with senior engineers and leadership.
