Job summary

Vantage42 is seeking a senior engineer to help build our flagship institutional-investing platform in a fully remote US role. You will shape complex workflows, work directly with founders, CTO, Product and customers, and drive evidence-backed agent analysis into reliable user experiences.

You will own end-to-end features from ingestion to UI, with a focus on stateful architecture, source lineage and measurable performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production web applications, including early-stage or fast-moving teams.
• Excellent SQL, relational data modeling, APIs and data pipelines; comfortable with evolving schemas.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM or agent-powered functionality with human-in-the-loop design and monitoring.
• Judgment balancing user experience, correctness, speed and maintainability; strong written communication in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end institutional workflows for monitoring, diligence, valuation, LP reporting and decision-making.
• Make agent outputs understandable with sources, confidence, changes, disagreements and actions needing human approval.
• Collaborate with investment teams and Customer Success to translate needs into simple, fast, resilient experiences.
• Integrate event-driven agents with typed domain models, shared memory and deterministic calculations.
