Job summary

State Street seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to modernize our Internal Audit tech stack with secure, scalable, cloud-native applications. You will own end-to-end development, contribute as a technical leader, and drive design decisions, coding standards, and durable fixes.

You will build AI-enabled user journeys and data-driven risk insights, embedding enterprise-grade security, privacy, governance, and operational readiness into the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise full stack web apps and APIs in cloud environments.
• Strong React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 skills.
• Experience operating in a senior/lead engineer capacity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and own full stack features across front-end, back-end, APIs and data layers.
• Lead technical design and solution architecture for key initiatives.
• Build high-quality UI with component-driven architecture and accessible UX.
• Design secure, resilient backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
