Job summary

Actively AI in New York City is seeking a Senior/Staff Full Stack Engineer to architect and build the foundational systems that define how users interact with Actively’s AI Agents through web interface and real-time workflows.

You’ll own core product experiences from Python/FastAPI backends to React/TypeScript UIs, establish design patterns and standards, prototype intelligent agent interactions, and collaborate with customers to make AI behavior trustworthy and easy to use.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products end-to-end on backend APIs and refined UI experiences.
• Strong React/TypeScript frontend and Python backend experience with attention to usability and polish.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and product platforms that enable fast, cohesive surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end features across the stack from APIs to UI.
• Define and evolve Actively’s product platform and shared components.
• Prototype intelligent AI interactions and collaborate with agent SDKs and internal frameworks.
• Ensure high performance and reliable data flow across SQL/NoSQL stores, caches, and pipelines.
• Incorporate customer feedback to improve usability and workflows.
