Job summary

Citigroup in Tampa, Florida seeks a Senior Full stack Application Developer to contribute to new and revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team. The role focuses on analysis, design, and programming across the stack to meet business needs.

You will lead and mentor mid-level developers, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure security, and uphold standards while working with Java, Spring Boot, and modern frameworks. The position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Apps Development or systems analysis experience.
• Extensive Java functional programming and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience delivering successful projects and SME in a dev area.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teaching abilities.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly and work with stakeholders.
• TDD/BDD development practice and microservices design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, and design new or revised applications.
• Monitor and control development phases and provide user support to business users.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate processes against standards, and advise solutions.
• Recommend security measures post-implementation to ensure system integrity.
• Consult with users and tech groups on issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure procedures and operating standards are followed.
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgement.
• Mentor mid-level developers and analysts; act as SME to stakeholders.
