Citigroup Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to lead large-scale applications and drive systems analysis and programming activities.

The role requires leadership in delivering robust software, aligning with architecture, and guiding teams across Engineers and Analysts. The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in apps development or systems analysis, strong Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP, and cloud/container experience, plus a solid understanding of design

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
• Hands-on experience with Web technologies (HTML, CSS, React JS), REST-APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend
• Strong fundamentals of OOP, data structures and algorithms
• Experience with API and Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience with containers and deployment
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine/Mocha)
• Experience with high-speed messaging platforms (Kafka)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to integrate functions and deploy enhancements
• Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of business and system processes
• Provide expertise in applications programming and system architecture alignment
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Understand how business areas integrate to achieve goals
• Provide analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts; allocate work
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citigroup policies and protect assets
