Blue Sky Innovative Solutions in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a government-facing project. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with analysts, end users, and government stakeholders to turn requirements into working software.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, and testing front-end and back-end systems, building APIs, ETL automation, and deploying across classified environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with modern JS frameworks (Angular, React) and backend languages (Java, Python, Node.js).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Experience deploying apps to AWS or AWS GovCloud with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users to elaborate on system requirements and participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Design, code, test, and troubleshoot front-end and back-end software.
• Develop and implement APIs and web services; query and manage relational and non-relational data stores (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch).
• Design and automate ETL processes.
• Implement containerization and prepare application builds for deployment across classified environments.
• Support system documentation to sustain the platform's accreditation and operational readiness.
• Performs related work as assigned.
