Job summary

HyerTek, a federal technology consulting firm, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build secure enterprise applications running in Azure Government and classified environments. You will own features across UI, API, and data access, migrating from embedded databases to Azure SQL and maintaining audit history.

You will work with solution architecture, cloud, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, analytics, and QA teams on an integrated delivery effort, using AI-assisted development and validated tooling to

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development for production enterprise apps.
• Experience with Node.js, Express, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building full-stack web apps, REST APIs, and database-backed systems.
• Strong SQL and relational modeling with SQL Server/Azure SQL.
• Experience modernizing mature apps or large cross-cutting refactors without regressions.
• Experience implementing authentication/authorization and secure sessions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployment.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack apps using Node.js, Express, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL Server/Azure SQL.
• Migrate embedded databases to Azure SQL with proper data-access patterns and migrations.
• Develop secure, versioned REST APIs with robust validation and logging.
• Ensure security controls, access management, and audit logging are preserved.
• Collaborate with architecture, cloud, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, QA, and analytics teams.
