Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on development across the full stack.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical lead role.
• Experience in commodities trading or related industries.
• Fluent use of AI coding tools like Claude Code/Claude Cowork across the lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Solid experience with server-side programming in two or more: C#, Python, or Java.
• Extensive experience with React or Angular, plus JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS.
• Strong database knowledge with performant queries across relational and other systems.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with workflow orchestration or automation tooling.
• Practical experience building/extending AI agent tools and MCP servers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end development lifecycle of apps, workflows, and automation.
• Evaluate problems and design architecture for web apps, workflows, or AI agents.
• Bring innovative thinking and explore new approaches/technologies.
• Participate in design and development of significant enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve high-severity issues and root causes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into specs.
• Build and maintain integrations including AI agent tools and MCP servers.
• Coordinate with IT teams to deploy and scale new instances.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance bottlenecks.
