Job summary

Trafigura Group in Houston seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to own end-to-end development of web apps, workflows, and automation. You will design scalable architectures across client, server, and data tiers, and build API integrations and AI agent tooling to connect systems and data.

The role requires 10+ years of full-stack experience, strong React/Angular with TypeScript, REST/GraphQL API design, and CI/CD with GitLab. Familiarity with AI tools and MCP servers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with React or Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong API design with REST and GraphQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitLab.
• AI tooling experience with Claude Code/Cowork.
• Knowledge of commodities trading is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of web apps, workflows, and automation.
• Design scalable architectures across client, server, and data tiers.
• Develop API integrations and AI agent/tooling connections.
• Lead and collaborate with global engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot high-severity issues and optimize performance.
