Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior API developer to design, implement, and support process automation REST APIs for ECM systems. You will lead ECM projects, collaborate with analysts and vendors, and drive solutions across multi-platform environments.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a solid SDLC background, and the ability to balance development with production support while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years full-stack development experience creating REST APIs.
• Full SDLC experience with software development.
• 3+ years REST APIs in Process Automation space.
• Experience with Box.com API, DocuSign API, Adobe Sign API, and/or IBM/FileNet P8 API preferred.
• Knowledge of Google APIgee preferred.
• 3+ years of .NET Framework or .NET, Web Services, HTML, XML, JavaScript development.
• Experience with Git preferred.
• Knowledge of Load Balancing, Firewalls, Reverse Proxies preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2 LUW preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript Framework React preferred.
• Experience working in multi-platform environments.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must balance both development and support roles.
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and ability to work with IT, vendor, and business groups.

Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, Integrate, and Support Process Automation API development.
• Architect, Analyze, Design, and Develop REST APIs for ECM systems.
• Lead medium to large ECM projects impacting other applications.
• Gather requirements, write design docs, develop solutions, test, and implement projects.
• Perform complex assignments independently and in teams.
• Collaborate with outside vendor teams interfacing with internal apps.
• Learn new systems, applications, technologies and business domains.
• Understand industry trends, standards, and Huntington practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with the team.
• Assist training and mentoring less experienced staff.
