Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer in Charlotte, NC. The role is hybrid with minimum 3 days onsite and a 12-month contract.

The candidate will work across Treasury, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting domains designing and modernizing enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, and microservices. The ideal candidate has deep experience with REST APIs, microservices, Oracle/SQL, Linux, and secure coding practices, plus CI/CD and messaging integrations.

Qualifications

• Must have strong full stack development experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate/ORM, JUnit, Tomcat.
• Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Python development and automation experience.
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices.
• Oracle/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Linux/Unix administration and deployment.
• SFTP integration and enterprise messaging tech.
• Git/GitHub/Bitbucket, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• OAuth and secure development practices.
• Experience with FOSS remediation and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, Python, and microservices and a proven ability to design, modernize, secure, and support enterprise applications for Treasury, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and Python.
• Design and support REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Build and enhance workflow orchestration and Control Panel applications.
• Lead upgrade efforts for Java, Tomcat, Python, Angular (to v22), and JDK (to v25).
• Support FOSS remediation, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices.
• Develop and support SFTP integrations, messaging solutions, and batch-processing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and related AI tools for development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong full stack development experience.
• Java 11/17/25+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate/ORM, JUnit, Tomcat.
• Angular v22+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Python development and automation experience.
• REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Oracle/SQL development and performance tuning.
• Linux/Unix administration and application deployment.
• SFTP integration and enterprise messaging technologies.
• Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with FOSS remediation, software upgrades, and vulnerability management.
