BCforward is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java .NET Developer to join our team in a hybrid capacity in Newark, DE. The contractor will translate requirements into designs, implement high-quality code, conduct unit testing, and help deploy applications across environments up to production.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with analysts, developing Java/J2EE and .NET components, and coordinating with QA/certification teams to resolve defects.

Formación

• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Core Java; building J2EE apps.
• Experience with IDEs Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• App server experience deploying J2EE apps on WebSphere, Tomcat, or Apache.
• Experience with Web API development.
• Working knowledge of .NET Framework 4.0 with .NET Core, C#, and WCF.
• Strong OO programming and web tech: ASP.NET, .NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of Handlebars, AngularJS, or React.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• GitHub Copilot familiarity.

Job Description

We are seeking an Senior Full-Stack Java .NET Developer to join our team in a hybrid capacity. The candidate will collaborate with business and systems analysts to translate requirements into low-level designs, implement high-quality application code following standards, conduct unit testing, and package deployments through production. The candidate will support quality assurance and product certification teams during testing and certification cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with analysts to understand requirements and produce low-level design.

• Develop, unit test, and package Java/J2EE and .NET application components.

• Deploy and support applications across environments up to production.

• Partner with QA and certification teams to triage and resolve defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Core Java, building J2EE applications with JSP and Servlets.

• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.

• Application server experience deploying J2EE apps on WebSphere, Tomcat, or Apache.

• Experience with Web API development.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 with proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and WCF.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

• Expertise in web technologies: ASP.NET, .NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.

• Working knowledge of Handlebars, AngularJS, or React and related client-side technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and projects.

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in hybrid enterprise environments integrating Java and .NET stacks.

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery practices.

Role Logistics

• Start month: November.

• Onsite expectation: Hybrid, minimum three days onsite per week.

• Interview process: One to two rounds, video or in-person.

• Glider: ID verification required.
