Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano, TX seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack skilled in React and AWS to drive end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable digital products within Digital Technology.

You will lead hands-on development, mentor engineers, and collaborate across design, development, testing, and operations while shaping architecture, security, and resiliency through strong engineering practices and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, NodeJS.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (RDS Postgres or equivalents).
• Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews to improve delivery quality.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code for repeatable deployments.
• Cloud experience with AWS.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews peers' code.
• Drives decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations.
• Acts as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more focus areas.
• Contributes to the engineering community with SDLC frameworks and practices.
• Influences stakeholders on the use of leading-edge technologies.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation and delivery.
