Job summary

ICE Mortgage Technology is modernizing the real estate and housing finance lifecycle. We seek a Principal Engineer, Full Stack Development to design, build, and architect scalable solutions that enhance mortgage servicing capabilities.

You will lead teams, develop APIs, and deliver responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, and Node.js. You will utilize Python and Java (Spring Boot) to create robust libraries and services, while applying secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java/Spring, JavaScript.
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, JWS, JWE, and JWKS/certificates.
• Experience with OpenAPI 3.0 (Swagger).
• Experience with OpenShift, microservices.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP, cloud (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, and Git.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to software engineering staff.
• Design and develop APIs for front-end and partner use.
• Lead full-stack development including migrations and new features.
• Develop front-end apps with React/Angular/Node.js and ensure responsiveness.
• Create data models and persist data in databases.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to SDLC with Agile practices.
