The Mortgage Office is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build core user experiences, with a strong focus on both frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js) services. You will contribute to API design, data modeling, and cross-team collaboration as the company scales its SaaS platform.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of professional experience, proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, and a track record of delivering production-grade systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional, post-college software engineering experience as a full-stack developer.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across backend and frontend codebases.
• Extensive experience developing backend services using Node.js, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Solid experience with React for building scalable web applications.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and data fetching patterns.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization flows.
• Experience optimizing performance on frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript to support frontend functionality.
• Build responsive, type-safe frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with backend to define API contracts and efficient data fetching (REST/GraphQL).
• Work with designers and product managers to translate requirements into polished user experiences.
