Job summary

ICE Mortgage Technology is looking for a Principal Engineer, Full Stack Development to lead design, development and architecture across mortgage servicing platforms. You will craft APIs, front-end apps, and AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, while guiding teams through secure, scalable delivery.

The role requires 7+ years of software development experience with Java/Python, OpenShift and CI/CD in an Agile/SDLC environment. Strong communication and mentorship are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
• 7+ years in software development.
• Experience with Python, .NET or Java/Spring, JavaScript.
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and API security.
• Experience with OpenAPI 3.0 (Swagger).
• Experience with OpenShift and microservices.
• CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Relational databases experience.
• SDLC with Agile and AI tools familiarity.
• Security tooling like Snyk.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to software engineering staff in development, testing and implementation processes.
• Designs and develops APIs necessary to affect front end functionality and/or be consumed by other partners.
• Develops front end applications utilizing React, Angular, NodeJs, etc. and ensures responsiveness.
• Develops code libraries and APIs using Python and Java (Spring Boot).
• Develops AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and related services.
• Utilizes secure development practices for robust, secure deployments.
• Participates in design meetings and defines technical requirements.
• Writes specs based on business requirements.
• Mentors less experienced staff.
• Maintains awareness of industry web development standards.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
