GOAT Group is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Consumer team in New York City. You will own backend and frontend architecture, drive end-to-end feature delivery, and lead initiatives with high autonomy to ship impactful solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in software engineering, strong Go/Python/Ruby and React/TypeScript/Next.js experience, and a track record of building high-traffic consumer applications. AI tooling familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in backend/distributed systems.
• Proven track record leading a team to ship features.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead full stack architecture and system design for customer-facing features.
• Own backend roadmap and coordinate cross-functional delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of frontend and backend work.
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Serve as technical anchor: set standards and review designs.
• Manage technical roadmap for larger scope projects.
• Propose and implement low-risk technical improvements.
• Coordinate across engineering, product, and design teams.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development velocity.
