Job summary

The Phoenix Group in New York seeks a hands-on Lead Architect to design and build scalable full-stack systems. You will shape backend services, data models, and modern frontend interfaces powering data-driven product experiences and enterprise insights using AI/ML.

As a technical leader, you will drive event-driven architectures with Kafka and cloud pub/sub, implement secure multi-tenant patterns, mentor engineers, and partner with DevOps to ensure scalable, observable, and compliant AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong backend (FastAPI, Django) and frontend (React, Vue, Angular) expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full stack apps with modular backend services and front end components.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and DevOps to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Define canonical data models and advanced search/indexing to support AI features.
• Build event-driven architectures using Kafka and cloud pub/sub for real-time data streams.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities (RAG, semantic search, entity resolution) into workflows.
• Establish frontend architectures with React/Vue/Angular and shared UI libraries.
• Drive reliability, observability, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Implement RBAC/ABAC and multi-tenant security across layers.
• Mentor engineers on architecture, code quality, and best practices.
• Partner with DevOps and security to oversee AWS cloud infrastructure.
