Job summary

Target seeks a Lead Full Stack Engineer for the AI Data Platform team in Brooklyn Park, MN. You will architect and build scalable, enterprise-grade full-stack capabilities for AI agents, orchestration, evaluation, and observability, while guiding a team and partnering with product and UX.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in full-stack, strong Java/Kotlin/Go/Python and React/TypeScript, plus experience with AI/ML, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms. Hybrid work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of full stack software engineering experience with technical leadership.
• Strong programming in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python; frontend with React/TypeScript.
• Experience with AI/ML, GenAI, and agent-based workflows.
• Cloud-native design, distributed systems, APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of scalable full-stack solutions for agent orchestration and evaluation.
• Build reusable capabilities for agent lifecycle, memory, tool integration, and sandboxing.
• Develop experiences for building, testing, orchestrating, and managing AI agents and workflows.
• Integrate LLMs and enterprise tools into production-grade solutions with guardrails.
