Job summary

Sartre Group is seeking a Senior/Staff Full Stack Engineer for their AI Platform in NYC. The role is based in Midtown NYC with four days onsite, focusing on building internal tools and real-time UIs that integrate LLMs with financial data.

You will join a small engineering team to develop end-to-end systems from scratch. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript, Python, and SQL skills, and an interest in AI/LLMs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years software engineering experience.
• Strong in TypeScript, Python and SQL.
• Experience building and owning end-to-end systems.
• Comfortable onsite 4 days/week in NYC.
• Interest or experience in AI/LLMs (integration-level is fine).

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack systems from scratch (real-time UIs, backend services, and LLM integrations).
• Grow and maintain internal tools used across the business.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to ship features end-to-end.
