Job summary

Saragossa in New York is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a lean technology team and make a real impact on how the business operates. This hands-on role will involve collaborating with Treasury, Risk, Trading and Operations to streamline processes and build automation.

You will work across Python, C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, SQL, and Databricks, and contribute to AI/LLM powered projects across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience within financial services.
• Exposure to Treasury, Middle Office, Risk, Trading, Operations or similar business functions is a plus.
• Hedge fund or asset management experience is preferred, but strong investment banking candidates will also be considered.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify inefficiencies with Treasury, Risk, Trading and Operations and build software and automation to improve them.
• Develop and maintain AI/LLM powered applications across the firm.
• Take projects from idea through implementation in a lean technology environment.
