Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Rippling AI in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will own meaningful technical initiatives end-to-end across backend infrastructure and frontend surfaces, building scalable agent infrastructure and observable AI experiences that drive automation across the platform.

You will collaborate with product, design, and platform teams, mentor junior engineers, and help set architectural direction as we move toward autonomous, trustworthy AI surfaces

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex projects.
• Strong expertise in platform and distributed systems engineering.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) for polished UX.
• Hands-on coding across backend and frontend with high output.
• Experience driving end-to-end initiatives across infra to UI.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and implementation for high-impact AI platform initiatives.
• Build scalable agent infrastructure for automating workflows.
• Design user-facing AI experiences that are observable and trustworthy.
• Develop platform capabilities encoding business logic into automated workflows.
• Build frontend components for AI-powered surfaces and dashboards.
• Collaborate with product, infra, and platform teams to ensure cohesive UX.
• Design observable, self-correcting systems that improve over time.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise technical bar on the team.
• Translate model improvements into architecture and UX decisions.
