Job summary

Rippling is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for Rippling AI, building an autonomous operating system for work. You’ll own meaningful initiatives end-to-end, from backend infrastructure to user-facing surfaces that make AI capabilities accessible and trustworthy.

You will collaborate with diverse engineering teams and be hands-on across the entire stack, driving architecture decisions and shipping impactful features that scale with the company’s growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex, full-stack projects.
• Strong platform and distributed systems background with observable, reliable backend systems.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) with polished, performant UX.
• Hands-on coding across backend and frontend; high-output contributor.
• Clear communication across diverse audiences and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical design and implementation for AI platform initiatives from backend to frontend.
• Build scalable agent infrastructure automating high-frequency workflows.
• Design user-facing AI experiences that are observable, controllable, and intuitive.
• Develop harness and platform capabilities encoding business logic into automated workflows.
• Build frontend components for AI-powered surfaces including dashboards and UIs.
• Collaborate with product, infra, and platform teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Design observable, self-correcting systems improving over time with minimal intervention.
• Partner with Product and Design to ensure trustworthy AI surfaces for users and admins.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar on the team.
• Track model capability improvements and translate into architecture and UX decisions.
