Job summary

The Bitcoin Way is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to scale growth through engineering and AI in a Bitcoin-focused consultancy. You will own the full development lifecycle, from scope to production, and contribute to both internal AI tools and client-facing applications.

You will work remotely from anywhere, enjoy three weeks PTO, and own architectural decisions while integrating self-hosted tooling with a strong data-security mindset.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping production systems to real clients.
• AI in production: built and deployed AI automations, agents, or pipelines that run in production environments.
• Proficiency with Python and TypeScript.
• Self-hosted infrastructure experience: Docker, Docker Compose, Nginx.
• Data security mindset: designs that protect client data by default.
• You ship: prototype fast, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, own what you build end-to-end.
• Bitcoin conviction.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software development lifecycle: define scope, prototype, communicate with the team, review PRs, test in QA, deploy, and maintain.
• Build internal AI applications that scale sales, marketing, and client-facing teams through automation.
• Build external client-facing applications that make sovereignty accessible.
• Migrate and manage data across systems as needed.
• Build greenfield tooling and infrastructure on self-hosted environments we control.
• Document every system so another engineer could maintain it.
