Job summary

Varsity Spirit is seeking an energetic software professional to design and deliver full‑stack solutions across front‑end and back‑end systems. You will collaborate with analysts and architects to build secure, scalable software and mentor peers in a fast‑paced environment.

The role emphasizes AI‑assisted development, modern tooling, and strong engineering standards, with remote collaboration across business partners and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 8–10+ years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Proven knowledge of GitHub or other mainstream source control.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery approaches.
• Experience implementing and supporting security and compliance policies.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and architecture decisions across front end and back end from concept through delivery.
• Lead product concept, design, and prototyping for new features.
• Design and implement data models and schemas for relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Code across front end and back end using Angular, Java, Node.js, TypeScript.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and quality.
