First American is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to design and build secure, cloud-native applications in Azure with Python, React, and REST APIs. You will partner with Product, Architecture, UX, DevOps, and Security to deliver AI-enabled features, LLM integrations, and scalable services using modern tooling and agile practices.

Competenze

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• REST API design and consumption.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Code reviews and mentoring engineers.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities including Azure OpenAI, LLMs, or RAG.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience preferred.
• Strong communication across teams.
• Familiar with Ruby on Rails or willingness to learn.
• Event-driven architecture and messaging.
• OpenTelemetry observability.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable applications in an Azure cloud environment.
• Build full-stack solutions using Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
• Modify and enhance existing applications; contribute to product delivery through coding and pull request reviews.
• Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered capabilities, including LLM integrations, RAG, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation, using platforms such as Azure OpenAI.
• Implement and maintain AI orchestration and inference pipelines, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, observability, and responsible usage.
• Apply software engineering best practices (testing, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, secure SDLC) to production systems, including AI-driven applications.
• Evaluate and prototype emerging AI tools and frameworks; leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, and code review.
• Ensure data privacy, security, governance, and compliance when building and deploying AI-enabled functionality.
• Independently define and prioritize goals and tasks in a fast-paced agile product environment with small, focused teams.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and stakeholders to align on design plans, troubleshoot production issues, and drive durable solutions.
• Mentor engineers on software engineering best practices, cloud-native architecture, and AI integration patterns.
• Propose solutions to complex problems, build consensus among the team, and influence technical direction.
