Job summary

Stand Insurance is building a self-driving insurer by bringing recruiting in-house to fill complex, leadership roles quickly and with high-quality hires. You will own full-cycle recruiting across functions, build self-sourced pipelines, and collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to scale Stand’s team.

We expect strong experience in growth-stage startups, direct sourcing, and implementing scorecards and interview panels to accelerate hiring while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years running full-cycle recruiting end to end across technical, insurance, and business roles.
• Proven in-house sourcing of strong passive candidates directly, without agencies.
• Experience recruiting at growth-stage startups, managing 12–15 reqs and moving fast under ambiguity.
• Track record of driving time-to-hire down and cost-to-hire under benchmark.
• Hands-on use of automation and AI to run high req loads, with self-built workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting across nearly every function at Stand.
• Develop self-sourced pipelines and role scorecards in collaboration with leaders.
• Create fast, respectful candidate experience and measurable hiring outcomes.
