Job summary

FourPoint Business in Franklin, TN is seeking a Senior Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage monthly bookkeeping across multiple client accounts using QuickBooks Online. You will reconcile statements, lead cleanup projects, and ensure accurate financial statements before distribution.

The role reports to the Director of Bookkeeping Services and offers hybrid work in Cool Springs, full-time hours from 8am–5pm, with a pay range of $60,000–$70,000.

Qualifications

• Experience independently managing the full monthly bookkeeping process for multiple clients or accounts.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience. QuickBooks Desktop does not meet this requirement.
• A track record of resolving complex bank reconciliation differences and correcting historical bookkeeping errors.
• QuickBooks Online cleanup projects you completed yourself, with the ability to explain what was wrong, what you changed, and how you proved the balances were correct.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online reports used to trace changes and verify balances.

Responsibilities

• Run the full monthly bookkeeping cycle for multiple client accounts, including review of the Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts each month and fix discrepancies at the source.
• Match downloaded transactions to existing payments, deposits, bills, and charges.
• Lead cleanup projects for new clients with unreconciled activity and reconcile month by month.
• Investigate unusual balances in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and correct transactions.
• Record equipment and vehicle purchases and loans, separating principal from interest.
• Track customer deposits and other liabilities by customer and apply or refund them as needed.
• Complete a documented month-end close before statements go to a client, including balances and trends.
• Document corrections and open issues, and get approval before changing any closed period.
