Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an associate with proven experience
• 3–5 years of full charge bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in accounting software (3–5 years)
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Thrives in a collaborative office environment
• Ability to interface with staff and external contacts
• Maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting functions and accruals
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management
• Handle accounts payable, deposits, and reconciliations
• Manage payroll and payroll tax administration
• Prepare annual 1099s and budget maintenance
• Assist with audit preparation and escrow/fixed asset maintenance
