Job summary

Harps Tarps in Stone Mountain, GA seeks a hands-on Full-Charge Bookkeeper to own day-to-day accounting operations and support month-end close. You will manage A/P & A/R, maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure accurate data for the Senior Accounting Manager.

The role covers payroll processing, vendor records, audits, cash flow monitoring, and internal controls. 5–8+ years of experience and strong GAAP knowledge are required; in-person work location with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 5-8+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or equivalent experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and full-cycle accounting.
• Proficient Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle A/P and A/R, vendor setup, invoicing, billing, and collections.
• Maintain general ledger with timely entries and post journal entries.
• Prepare accruals and prepaids and reconcile accounts monthly.
• Support month-end and year-end close for the Senior Accounting Manager.
• Oversee payroll processing and PTO tracking; maintain employee records.
