Job summary
Amazon in Nashville is seeking a high-impact engineer to design world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems across North America and Europe. You will own multiple projects from concept through design approval, interact with suppliers, and hand off to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning.
The role requires 5+ years in design, innovation, and project management, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and experience with MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent
- Experience with design & innovation and research & development
- Experience in management of engineering design projects
- Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
Responsibilities
- Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions
- Be the supplier's primary technical contact for projects and hand off to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning
- Work on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects across North America and Europe
- Support installation and commissioning to ensure successful launches
