Job summary

Framatome is seeking a Fuels Neutronics & TH Methods Engineer to join our team in a remote-capable role based in the US. You will perform complex engineering tasks in neutronics and thermal-hydraulic methods, review analyses, and propose autonomous solutions while ensuring compliance with standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 7 years of related experience, with strong programming skills in FORTRAN, Python, and C++, plus experience with core neutronics and

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; physics or related fields may be accepted.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, testing and specifications.
• Review department work products and analyses, including risk assessments and RCAs.
• Propose solutions and work autonomously on assignments.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards.
• Evaluate and apply technical techniques for new adaptations.
• Develop new or adapted products and methods for customers.
• Understand impact of work on other groups.
• Work on special projects as directed.
