Job summary

Framatome in Richland, WA, seeks an Experienced Thermal Hydraulics Codes and Methods Engineer to design and develop numerical methods and software used to design, simulate, and license Framatome fuel products.

The role requires strong C/C++ and Python skills, experience with NQA-1 standards, and a track record in data analysis and collaborative work within a team. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines such as CS, Nuclear, or Software engineering.
• At least 5 years of directly related experience.
• Strong communication and ability to convey detailed technical data.

Responsibilities

• Design or modify software under NQA-1 guidelines to simulate nuclear power plants.
• Perform data analysis to support R&D and licensing activities.
• Support internal and external customers in the development and continuous improvement of software.
