Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking an experienced engineer to determine and develop approaches for resolving complex engineering problems in aircraft fuel systems.

You will coordinate project segments, present findings, and provide technical direction to staff while maintaining confidentiality. The role involves leadership, communication across teams, and interaction with customers and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering from an accredited institution with 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, codes, and theory; broad application.
• Ability to develop and communicate new concepts; organize and coordinate work phases.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integration and test of an aircraft fuel system.
• Provide expert guidance and lead a team on difficult engineering problems.
• Coordinate segments of a project and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Represent the company as a prime technical contact to customers and regulatory agencies.
