Job summary

The FSQA Manager at Brakebush Brothers, Inc. supports the Hartwell facility in maintaining safe, quality products, overseeing HACCP and SQF programs, and liaising with customers to meet expectations.

This exempt, full-time role leads the FSQA team, manages audits (USDA and third-party), ensures training, and coordinates crisis management and recalls, with travel to other facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; five years of leadership experience or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; ability to lead teams under pressure.
• HACCP and SQF training and familiarity with audits and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages food safety and SQF programs; maintains HACCP and SSOP documents.
• Oversees audits (3rd party, USDA, customer) and corrective actions.
• Leads FSQA team training and crisis management; manages recalls as needed.
• Acts as liaison with customers and communicates feedback to the team.
