Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc in Mocksville, NC is seeking a FSQA Supervisor for the 2nd shift to ensure safe, high-quality production, adherence to HACCP and SSOP programs, and compliance with partner requirements.

The role leads QA technicians, guides audits, investigates quality concerns, and acts as a USDA liaison for day-to-day operations; a minimum of three years supervisory experience in a USDA-regulated facility or a related degree with QA internship is required.

Qualifications

• Three years supervisory or lead experience in a USDA regulated facility leading a QA team OR a bachelor’s degree with a QA/Food Science internship.
• Strong interpersonal skills including professional oral and written communication, teamwork, and calm decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to organize, coordinate work within schedule constraints, and handle emergent requirements promptly.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Planner) and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads a team of QA Techs to ensure compliance with Food Safety & Quality programs and specifications.
• Guides the team through internal audits and assists management on HACCP-related programs and training.
• Investigates and closes customer concerns and tracks supplier foreign material issues internally and externally.
• Serves as a liaison to USDA, communicating day-to-day functions and results of Supplier Foreign Material supports.
