Career Crunch is seeking a seasoned FSQA Manager to lead the facility's FSQA team and drive food safety and quality programs across production. You will develop and verify HACCP-based plans, manage CAPA activities, and coordinate audits with customers and regulators.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making. You will ensure compliance with customer specs and regulatory requirements, mentor supervisors, and guide continuous improvement

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in food processing and quality management; meat industry USDA-regulated products preferred.
• Former management or supervisory experience with potential to hire and develop salaried staff.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across functions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the FSQA team for the facility with direct reports (Assistant FSQA Manager, FSQA Superintendent).
• Develop, implement, and maintain plant quality and food safety programs (HACCP, Food Safety Plans, GMPs, SSOPs, Environmental Monitoring).
• Lead CAPA activities for foreign material, customer complaints, and environmental monitoring.
• Oversee sanitation verification and master sanitation schedules.
• Serve as primary liaison for on-site USDA-FSIS personnel.
• Ensure finished product compliance with customer and label specs.
• Lead audits (third party, customer, regulatory) including BRCGS, Organic, Child Nutrition.
• Map processes and FSQA criteria for major projects and product launches.
• Develop and verify FSQA training for plant team members and staff.
• Lead internal audits and manage product holds/releases.
