Job summary

Amazon in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead strategic cloud solutions for FSI Payments. You will engage in deep architectural discussions, influence design choices, and collaborate with sales to exceed objectives.

You will publish customer-facing whitepapers and blogs, mentor teams, and help build broad AWS adoption across enterprise customers while traveling regionally less than 10%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring design for deployment and resilience.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs and proofs of concept.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS services.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical and business leaders and individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Travel is mostly regional, and is expected to be less than 10%.
