Job summary
Amazon Web Services, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help enterprise customers adopt and migrate to the cloud. You will design resilient cloud solutions, educate customers on best practices, and partner with sales to drive cloud adoption and successful deployments.
You will build relationships with senior leaders, share knowledge across the AWS community, and travel regionally as needed to advance customer outcomes and cloud strategy.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of technology domain experience (software, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
Responsibilities
- Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions on AWS.
- Author or contribute to customer-facing publications and proof of concepts.
- Partner with the sales team to craft a plan that drives revenue through AWS service adoption.
- Build relationships with senior technical and business leaders to enable cloud advocacy.
- Share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
- Travel regionally, approximately 15-20%.
