Job summary

Commerce is building a new generation of AI-powered commerce tools. We’re seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own a unified, streaming UI that lets merchants and buyers interact with five agents across discovery, quoting, and fulfillment.

You will shape the frontend surface of a greenfield product, collaborating with backend engineers, design, and product teams. This role is hybrid in the Atlanta metro area with optional Austin work, and offers strong growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend or full-stack software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, SW, CE, MIS; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the unified agent frontend for real-time streaming conversations.
• Extend a library of generative UI components rendered from agent output.
• Deliver merchant-facing control panels and shopper views for the agent suite.
• Own frontend architecture: state, theming, and embedding across storefronts.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on client-server protocols and tools.
• Partner with product and design for intuitive user experiences.
• Build quick proofs-of-concept and harden for GA release.
• Mentor engineers and raise frontend quality across the team.
