Job summary

Together AI is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join our central Product Engineering team and embed with the Commerce engineering group in San Francisco. You will own the frontend surface for Together AI’s most revenue-critical user flows: enterprise spend controls, usage-based pricing displays, and metering dashboards.

This hands-on role emphasizes shipping increments, clear UX decisions, and collaboration with product, design, and backend engineers to move customer value forward.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of frontend engineering experience shipping production features.
• Strong React fundamentals with complex, stateful UIs users depend on.
• Excellent TypeScript skills with typed interfaces across components and APIs.
• Observability habits: instrument, monitor, and use data to guide improvements.
• Translate complex product requirements into correctly sequenced frontend work.
• Fluency consuming APIs, handling loading and error states with typed interfaces.
• Next.js, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui experience is a meaningful plus.
• Experience with billing, payments, or usage-based pricing UIs (Stripe) is a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Own Commerce’s frontend layer end-to-end: from API consumption to polished user experiences.
• Break down requirements into an iterative roadmap and execute without step-by-step directions.
• Champion the customer experience across commerce surfaces and turn issues into improvements.
• Build reusable, well-typed React components on top of Together’s UI Platform.
• Instrument and verify feature success using data, web vitals, and analytics.
• Address edge cases and payment-related scenarios in commerce contexts.
