Alpaca is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, implement, and maintain frontend applications powering our trading platforms. You will build dashboards and the UI for Trading API features, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality, responsive interfaces for millions of users.
You will mentor teammates, champion best practices, and push performance, accessibility, and polish across web and mobile experiences.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of frontend development with TypeScript/React.
- 2+ years mobile app development for Android/iOS.
- Experience with modern systems languages (Golang, C++, or Rust).
- Proficient in HTML/CSS and TailwindCSS.
- Experience with REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate product designs into UI.
- Attention to design aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain frontend applications powering Alpaca's user experience.
- Develop trading dashboards and support Trading API features.
- Mentor peers and influence the technical strategy of the team.
