Job summary

TeamViewer GmbH in Austin, TX seeks a senior frontend engineer to lead the development of our web applications. You will design and implement high-performance UI components and migrate to modern tech stacks while ensuring code quality, accessibility, and testing.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor developers, and drive performance, scalability, and a strong developer experience, upholding our inclusive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• A completed university or college degree in Computer Science/IT or related subject.
• At least 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue welcome) and testing background.
• Team-player mentality with testing experience.
• Experience with component-based architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil), and REST/GraphQL integration.
• Strong attention to detail with performance, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend development of new web applications.
• Design and implement high-performance, maintainable UI components.
• Drive migration to modern tech stacks and architect scalable features for React apps.
• Visualize complex data sets with excellent techniques.
• Ensure best practices in front-end architecture, code quality, accessibility, and testing.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentorship of developers.
• Continuously research and advocate improvements in performance, scalability, and developer experience.
