Job summary

TeamViewer GmbH in Austin, TX seeks a senior frontend engineer to lead the development of our web applications. You will design and implement high-performance UI components and migrate to modern tech stacks while ensuring code quality, accessibility, and testing.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor developers, and drive performance, scalability, and a strong developer experience, upholding our inclusive, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• A completed university or college degree in Computer Science/IT or related subject.
• At least 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue welcome) and testing background.
• Team-player mentality with testing experience.
• Experience with component-based architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil), and REST/GraphQL integration.
• Strong attention to detail with performance, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A completed university or college degree in the field of Computer Science, IT, or any related subject is required

• At least 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript

• Team-player mentality combined with awareness and experience with testing

• Proven experience with component-based architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or Recoil), and REST/GraphQL integration

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility

• Fluency in English is mandatory; further languages are a plus
