Job summary
TeamViewer is hiring to lead frontend development for new web applications in a dynamic Austin, TX team. You will design reusable UI components, drive migrations to modern tech stacks, and ensure performance and accessibility across React apps.
We value experienced frontend professionals who can mentor others, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and push for performance gains while delivering high-quality software, tests, and scalable architectures.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
- Deep knowledge of modern frontend frameworks; React preferred.
- Experience with Redux/Zustand/Recoil and REST/GraphQL integration.
- Strong testing experience and attention to performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development of new web applications.
- Design and implement high-performance, maintainable UI components.
- Migrate to modern tech stacks and architect scalable React features.
- Visualize complex data sets with clear UI.
- Uphold front-end architecture, accessibility, and testing best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor developers.
- Pursue performance, scalability, and DX improvements.
